So what's the solution here? And I must stress this out, as I feel it may be overlooked, but I repeat, this pixelated issue does NOT occur with the Elgato Capture Software. Because on OBS, I set the video output to 1080p, I set the Elgato configurations (connected to OBS via the Game Capture source) to 1080p, I raised the bitrate to at least 6000, and I even changed the output format to a lossless. It should be noted that when I record gameplay footage from the Elgato Capture Software itself (without OBS), the picture quality from the output is clean and not pixelated whatsoever (even in transitional scenes). Every time I raised the bitrate of the output the pixelated picture remained the same (heck, out of desperation I even set the bitrate to an extreme 999999, only for the output to remain pixelated). However, I was told recently by a couple of content creators (that apparently use OBS for recording) that they never had this issue, and that it required amplifying the bitrate of my output (which I tried to no avail). I draft record shack in OBS it seems like iOS device can maintain operate in. I remember reading a thread on these forums (that I believe was posted as far back as 2014) where it says that OBS cannot capture 1080p on the Elgato capture board, which is why it is blurry despite the output being set to 1080p. OBS Link is not needed for the newer Elgato Game Capture HD60 S+ model. However, the one, and literally only, issue I have with this combination is that after every gameplay session I record with the Elgato on OBS, the output is seen to be slightly blurry and noticeably pixelated in many areas (particularly during transitions such as the Fade In or Fade Out effects that occur in the games that are recorded, and when there is a lot of movement in a cutscene). This allows you to connect capture devices such as the Elgato capture board to OBS for live-recording. Now, I am aware that OBS has a Game Capture source that you can add to any scene you create. There's this glaring issue I've been having with OBS for the past couple of years, and I'm hoping that there's an explanation and solution for that issue here.
